Classes are run by a qualified AustSwim Instructor who is committed to teaching children to be safe in and around the water. Lessons cater for children from ages 6 months and up, for children with no water experience, to those wanting to improve stroke technique and fitness.
Burnie Swim School uses the Royal Life Saving Society's Swim & Survive Program for all classes.
Lessons are held during school terms on Thursdays, and go for 30 minutes per class. We operate out of newly renovated Oasis Pool Centre, located at 26 Three Mile Line, Burnie. Water temperature is kept at 34 degrees, making it perfect for infant and child learn to swim. There is car parking available on site. Lesson fees are $12.50 per class, and are payable at the commencement of the first lesson.
